Camellia Show 2016
Waverley Garden Club Camellia Show 2016(including floral art) presented by Camellias Victoria Inc. and Waverley Garden Club Inc. was held on 20-21 August 2016. The gold ribbon for the Victorian Winter Floral Art Championship titled ‘Simplicity with Impact’ was won by Anne Ashby who came all the way from South Australia. Anne also won the Beth Smith Perpetual Trophy for best modern/contemporary arrangement for ‘Colour Combo’.
Barbara Quinn won the blue ribbon for the best exhibit in Floral Art and the Camellias Victoria Inc award for the ‘wall hanging featuring Camellias’. Jenny Peiper won the President’s Perpetual Trophy for the best ‘Dorothy Paul Plate’.
