Gold Award
At the Waverley Garden Club birthday meeting on the 3rd of May, Noreen and Elizabeth did a beautiful floral demonstration. Noreen was dressed up as Hyacinth Bucket and Elizabeth was her friendly neighbour who was invited to her tea party. They made a beautiful autumn design, floral cup cakes, floral birthday cake, a trifle, fish course and a candelabra to decorate the table.
At this meeting our president Noreen Donovan was awarded the Royal Horticultural Society’s John Pascoe Fawkner Award for her outstanding contribution to horticulture and floral art over so many years. This Gold award is the highest honour that the RHSV presents and Noreen is a very worthy recipient. Congratulations Noreen!
